Any recommendations for kids lessons in Longmont/ Boulder area with school horses?

I have not been part of the scene for a number of years with just a retired horse- but DD wants to learn to ride (no, my 26yo TB is not a reasonable choice - I’m hoping he will grow up by 30).

Does anyone have recommendations for someone with school horses/ ponies?

I think the lessons are excellent. A sweet mix of sound, happy lesson ponies and horses

Thanks! As a grown up pony clubber that sounds great! We will check them out. I boarded at triple creek when the Browns first bought that farm and were doing tons of work to it. I didn’t know they had a lesson program.

Hobby Horse Farms has a good size riding academy and I think they are still Pony Club Affiliated.

Thanks! I’m definitely looking more towards Pony Club than A show barns. Places that offer Pony Club, 4H and/or summer camp and other kid experiences would be great- combined with quality instruction of course.

She’s just turning 6. I want safety, fun and solid basics.

Kris Espinoza at Hobby Horse is wonderful. A great person and great horsewoman. Her daughter won huge jumper classes on homebred horses and I had so many wonderful times spending the night with her daughter riding their very fun and easy horses

Blue Cloud Farm is where I learned to ride. A million years ago they had a great set of school horses…Papa Bear, Cider, Skipper, Charlie, Wheaties, Sandy…and some great beginner teachers.
