I have my eye on a gorgeous RJ coat on sale, but have only ever worn GP - my current coat is a Grand Prix in a 10 Slim, and is really too big to look nice - I need it taken in a bit at the bust and waist. Would a zero in RJ fit me? Do they run short/tall? Any ideas what the equivalent sizes are?

I think a 2 or 4. My RJ is tighter in the bust and waist then my grand pix. IIRC your size in RJ is what your dress/jacket size would be in street wear.

I think you’d probably be a 0 or a 2, depending on how you’re built. I wear a 12T in GP and am a 4L in RJ. The 4 has some room in the waist, but I have broad shoulders so a 2L is too small for me. If a 10 Slim is a little big, the RJ 0 should work for you.
As for length, I think they’re pretty similar. The RJ may run a little longer, but not enough to really notice.

A 0 would probably work for you. I’m a 2 regular/slim short in RJs, because my shoulders are too wide for the 0. I fit in the 12 slim Grand Prix I tried on, although the girl at the shop recommended the trainer’s cut, which is apparently wider in the shoulder and slimmer in the waist. And also recommended the short length. I’m 5’4" and a bit, if that helps.
I hate converting between show coat sizing. Wish we could just have standard sizes!

Ok, so I just found at the same store, a GP coat that I like even better for the same price, I think I’m going for that one instead! I could probably use an 8 tall, but I think I may just risk it:)
Here’s a pic - what do you think? It seems like the super pale coats aren’t as cool as they were a couple years ago, but I don’t care, bc I’m sick of my navy and charcoals!
My daughter wears a 10 slim in Grand Prix and a O in a RJ Classic. She wears a 2 though in her RJ Classic Shadbelly.
You would probably be a 0 in RJ. I have a Grand Prix jacket in 10 Slim that is too tight/small on me and an RJ Classics in a 2 that is a teeny bit large on me.
Sounds right- I wear a 12 t slim in GB and 2L in RJ Victor jacket - love the rj- I was wondering if I would fit into a RJ 2 regular in the Victory or Washington because I see more of that size on sale
