Any sport horse breeders in Northeast US? Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, etc?

Any recommendations for experienced sport horse breeders/farms in the New England area/Northeast US? Thank you!

We have a couple of nice KWPNs at the farm from Shooting Star Farm in New Hampshire.

Rhodes Farm in Sutton, MA.
Frogs Leap Farm in Milton, VT

Thank you all! I purchased an in utero foal (due June 2015) from a PNW breeder but am looking to grow out the baby someplace closer to me in the Northeast. Most northeast barns are training barns and not appropriate for growing young horses hence my question about local sport horse breeders. Thanks again!

Would Lexington KY be within the range you’d like?

In what world is Lexington considered “Northeast USA”?
Thanks for the morning giggle.

Mostly sport ponies, but I do breed a few sport horses! I currently have a nice two year old for sale.
www.twinlightsfarm.net we are in MA.

Hilltop & Iron spring Farm might be an option.

Majestic Gaits

would PA suit?

Wiseguy’s Farm might have baby boarding or Violet Hill in PA. Finding baby boarding can be difficult - try some repro clinics for leads or Facebook breeders’ groups.

You’d be surprised at what folks are willing to consider for the right situation, so I had to ask. lol

we breed a few each year, both for the track and for sport, here in Saratoga NY. there are plenty of smaller farms that would be willing to board a youngster, that have the experience, other babies for company, that might otherwise be off the radar.

I would shoot a message to Either or both Scot and Shooting Star Farm in NH http://www.shootingstarfarm.com/

and Kathy at Magestic Gaits also in NH http://www.majesticgaits.com/

and Meghan at Iron Springs Farm and see who they recommend to grow out babies.

Not that far north but I have had a number of my foals born and raised at Hilltop Farm in MD. Wonderful care and handling. Even though I live near them, they still send wonderful pictures and video up dates. Youngsters are all well handled without being over handled. Can’t say enough good things.
