Any tried the equifit impacteq half pad?

As the title says, any used this half pad yet? Thoughts and opinions compared the the Ogilvys and ecogolds?

Haven’t tried any of those pads but I did just buy an equifit wither relief pad on eBay for a steal. I am super stoked to try it out!

Yes, my barn has a few. I’m not sure how the compare to the ogilvy or ecogold, but I really really like it. But I’m not one of those people that is crazy about your saddle must fit everything perfectly with just one pad, because I ride a lot of different horses and my saddle’s used. So it fits me and I just use a half pad, sorry (flame suit on). Anywho, I really like the equifit and would get my own if they weren’t so darn expensive. They do see to compress a fair bit and look good under the saddle and not too bulky.

Yes, and I LOVE it! I was using a Mattes pad, but it was creating movement/friction under my saddle pad. The Equifit pad fits a million times better with my CWD, and it stays in place really well. I’ve tried the thicker Ogilvy pads, but didn’t like them because they added too much bulk.

I have an equifit half pad (but the one with a fleece cover, the same insides, just different outsides), an ogilvy pad, and an ecogold half pad.
My super thinbacked TB goes well in both the ogilvy and the equifit. My other horses didn’t seem to care one way or another. However, for horses with a custom saddle the equifit fits much nicer. I didn’t like the ecogold that much because it felt (and sounded) like someone had but a giant brillo pad inside of a cover.
Now, I personally like the equifit more, since the gel is nice and squishy, but the gel still gives resistance to your fingers if you try to squish them together. With the Ogilvy, you can squish your fingers together through it, there isn’t a lot of resistance.
However, my horses seem to not care between the equifit and ogilvy.
