Is there a way to save a thread into your own account for reference so that when it gets deleted from the archives during ‘housecleaning’ you can still read it? Other than cutting and pasting it into a new message in your own PMs?
When threads are pruned from the BB, they are gone and no longer exist. (They are deleted because of space concerns, so leaving hidden copies people could still access would not make sense.) Best I can suggest to you is to print it or make a PDF of it, or save a copy of it to your computer, either with your browser or by copy/pasting into another document.
