Perhaps Dom Pèrignon will be an appropriate name for the new arrival, combining celebration with medication?

“THAT’s” a thought!! Or how about “Costly”??? Sire’s dam is “Money Madam”!! Maybe there is a connection!![/QUOTE]
Please post with photos when the foal makes his/her arrival.
If it is any consolation, I did an ET with my WB mare. The recipient was a small, but experienced, Morgan broodmare. All the repro vets said that she would never go longer than about 340, and she’d probably foal earlier than that, because she was so small herself. Since this was my first foaling, I car camped in my friend’s barn, as I did not want to miss it!
The mare got wider and wider, looking more like a pregnant hippo. I dutifully documented any and all observations daily, and at 340 days I started bringing her in to the foaling stall each evening, and bandaged her tail overnight.
She’d had three foals previously, so was fairly predictable. We eventually decided she was following the Repro textbooks, and felt she had to show me every little change that happens when getting ready to foal.
The little mare who would NEVER go late held that foal until 363 days. Three weeks of car camping was worth being there for the arrival of a gorgeous, healthy filly.
Best wishes for an uneventful arrival.
