I just passed the 3 year mark and about to start a new drug.
First year was Ibrance till the cancer figured out how to work around it.
Then everolimus with rotten side effects till it too failed.
Cancer is in my bones, hip, ribs, spine, skull.
Might be time to join a support group but maybe there are fellow COTHers out there who know about this…
I am so sorry to hear you are dealing with this. Please take care and let us know how you are doing.
I am so incredibly sorry and can only say how horrible for you, and you sound so amazingly courageous. I hope others can share helpful experiences. A support group sounds like a really good idea.
Big hugs!!!
Sending all the prayers from here…
All the hugs and healing vibes.
You are an incredibly strong human being.
More hugs and healing thoughts for you
Hoosier Jingles from a 2X Victor - I prefer that to survivor.
Find yourself a support group, here a local hospital has one. Online is next best, or better if you prefer no face-to-face.
It helps to talk to those sharing the IRL experience.
Widownet helped me through that trying time.
& Come here to meet with this online support group. {{HUGS}}
just sending ((hugs)) laced with support & comfort ~
No direct experience, but had a barn friend was diagnosed at 39. I am sorry you are going through this. Sending you hugs and prayers. I think looking for a support group is a great idea. Keep in mind that one size does not fit all. It the first one doesn’t feel like a fit, don’t give up looking.
I’m so sorry for you, sending prayers your way
I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. Jingling for you.
Thanks all. There is a support group I can check out.
Prayers and warm thoughts. Please keep us updated (if you wish).
I’m so sorry…hugs and prayers to you.
Sending big hug. My mom has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and it’s just… shitty. No other word for it.
I’m so very sorry you’re dealing with this brutal disease. I know. I’ve been living (and riding) with it since 2015. My type of cancer, her2 triple positive, thankfully responds well to immunotherapy drugs. Breast cancer.org has a great support group for metastatic disease. Click on the community section. Sending hugs to you.
