Anybody know how to make a teeter/totter bridge?

I have the long bridge portion (extra long heavy duty pallet). Its probably 12-14 ft long. planks are spaced maybe 2 inches apart. How do I make it rock? Should I cover the planks with anything (mats)?

We just stuck a lo![]( under it in the middle. We didn’t go over it at speed but it stayed pretty secure for about 30+ horses going over it at a just-for-fun extreme cowboy race.

@snaffled - super cute horse!!! Love the color.

usually from my experience the easiest way is to want the thing to be level then there is no way it would ever be level

but the extra long shipping pallet most likely would need to re-enforced as its design was intended to be on a flat surface

YouTube is your friend. Lots of videos. And Lmbernathy, iit does looks as if instructions are lacking. Most look pretty straight forward to make, though.

Really @mht ? I found some videos (this one is my favorite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp2nKABWUVs&feature=share His teeter totter is at 2:01, but holy crap check out 1:25!) but no instructions. At least not for a horse sized teeter totter.

Looks like most people just use a log in the middle, maybe a couple boards to keep the log from sliding from the middle of the “bridge”

Just don’t want this to turn into a disaster this seems way to easy lol

@clanter this is the most heavy duty pallet I’ve ever seen. It was used to ship some million dollar piece of equipment that makes mattresses. I think I could drive my tractor over it lol
