Anybody show in polo boots?

I’m in dire need of new boots, it seems like everything is dying at once. Since I don’t show much, I’m thinking of just getting a nice pair of polo boots for schooling and showing. The zip on the polo design seems to take the stress of daily living a bit better than the inside front of a dress boot. My current schooling boots are Dehner polo boots, and I have been very happy with this style. It just seems silly to spend a bunch of $$$ (nothing off the rack fits, so custom is the way to go) on boots that can be shown in when I actually do that about 4-6 days a year.

I ride in Petrie Polo boots. Love 'em. Easy to put on, you can’t really even see the zips. And they hold up better (don’t sag/break down) as easily as boots with zips up the back. Only type I’ll ever buy!

Yes to the question in your title.

But even if the answer was no, they are show legal. You could also get the ones with the laces all the way up.

Note that it is common on dressage boots, stiffer ones, to have zipper on the inside front of the boots.
