Hampshire,
I’m in Ohio and trying to rehome a lot of horses right now… are you looking for anything specific? I do adoptions w/lifetime contracts, but the horses that I rehome are direct seller-to-buyer sales (no contracts from USHO). I’m just marketing them because the owners have asked for help.
Your welcome to look at our site www.usho.org. I can give you references that I view the horses like kids… once they’re fit to go, I want them off the farm and really don’t want them back unless something goes wrong.
I have a yearling draft cross (Sunflower) that is very cute, but she won’t be a jumper for quite a while. Her mom is a belgian and only God knows what her dad is, but she’s has a nice (non draft) face and is going to be tall with only a slightly heavy built. She’s wicked smart. She would be from USHO on contract and my adoption fee is a free choice donation.
These are NOT USHO horses, but looking for homes:
A very nice (temperment) chestnut TB, owners are asking $750 for him. ( see: http://www.usho.org/JohnnyC.html ) I’m getting photos this week.
I’m also placing a 17.2 sound/clean TB, owner is asking bigger $, but I know he’d be negotable on it, no web page, but I have photos that I can send.
I have another TB, chestnut w/star, CANTER horse, 16h, too much horse for novice beginner, but nice otherwise. Has a suspensory issue that makes him not suitable for heavy lesson schedule, but is ridable, not sure exactly what is the suspensory issue.
