Is she really down to just six horses now?

Downsizing…
I highly doubt that trailqueen…
Did you give her money for this horse?
Texas scam artist REFUNDS MONEY TO VICTIMS
well look-ee here, another loose wing-nut foiled in her scheme by a state AG office:
http://www.horsetalk.co.nz/news/2010/11/063.shtml
here are the highlights:
A horse trader from Texas who misrepresented animals has agreed to repay her victims more than $US65,000, as well as civil penalties and legal fees totalling $25,000.
…
Under the deal, restitution must be paid to customers who bought sick or unhealthy animals. The agreement also prohibits the defendant from continuing to engage in the horse business.
State investigators found the defendant unlawfully sold horses who were blind, injured, sick and lacked up-to-date documentation proving that individual animals had been tested for infectious diseases.
Wilson conducted business with customers in several states without disclosing the animals’ true health conditions.
…
Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Animal Health Commission said the defendants routinely posted advertisements on websites where horses were commonly marketed and sold.
State investigators learned that Wilson falsely claimed that her animals were healthy, gentle, trained for riding, and suitable for children.
In fact, Wilson’s customers actually received animals that were blind, scarred, underweight, barely trained and otherwise materially different from the horse they intended to purchase.
…
Sound familiar?

Just got an emaciated, covered in wounds, rainrot, abscesses in both front feet, body condition “1” horse from Britney. She tried to get money out of me! HA idiot! Then tried to charge me for papers, on a TB gelding! I mean really? You met the wrong person!!!
Horse is doing great now he knows what food is!!!
PEOPLE BEWARE!!![/QUOTE]
Yay horseygirl5011! Hopefully one more person to tack on complaints about B will get everyone a little further in their case against her!!!
too good to be true…
unfortunately, her numbers are back up… I have to wonder if her “moving to another state” is going to go on as long as her “in college” years?? I would think if she was really moving she wouldn’t have new horses.
She has quite a few listed on Horsetopia…do they not pull her ads?

Thanks for posting
directly out of ads…
“PRICE REDUCED TO NO TIME. TURNEDOUT UNTIL SOLD.” and “PRICE REDUCED DUE TO NO HOME. TURNED OUT TO PASTURE UNTIL SOLD.” The horse doesn’t have a home or Britney doesn’t have a home?
So if the price is reduced due to no home…how come they are still under training? Did I read the ads wrong? Thought maybe I had forgotten how to read…
updated…
Well Annie aka Ellegance is now only for lease with a trainer. It states she is a free lease but only to someone with a trainer…good luck with that. Hope she gets to a good home this way.
pups
equinejumper21@rocketmail.com has aussie pups for sale (columbusdispatch.com). She is asking $1000 for one of the males, and the other six are $800/ea. They’re cute, but I’m not sure I’d ever pay that much for a pup.
How does one pursue a claim against the Kenney person?
Heather
?
Back up to 10 horses, seriously? OK, if she is turning horses out to pasture until sold because she doesn’t have time to do anything with them, why would she get another one? Am I totally missing something here??
Must be another rescue situation trailqueen…I see that Ellegance is a free lease with a trainer, but then you read the bottom of the post and it says its a show lease with a small fee and insurance…is the insurance for the horse or the rider? Both would need it…
insurance??
Betcha it’s make check payable to Britney…
