Anyone do the piriformis stretch?

Anyone do the piriformis stretch for low back pain? And, any helpful hints on it?

I find it easier/more effective to do when I’m laying on my back rather than the one you do sitting up.

I do find it loosens things, but on one side it can set off slight symptoms for a little bit. (Yes, I know, ask my PT about this.)

Thanks.

Do you have a link to the specific piriformis stretch you are referring to?

Here you go, PS:

Thanks.

I stretch mine while in the pool.

I started doing these every night or at least every night I can remember and they worked wonders! Had severe pain after an involuntary dismount and it just hurt! Did these - the sitting one made me cry at first - and in a few days the pain was much diminished.
