anyone ever use Barricade (prodiamine) herbicide for pre-emergent weed control?

Was walking through my pastures the other day, checking to see how well the fescue I overseeded with last fall was doing, and noticed quite a lot of chickweed has decided to move in. In addition, I also had quite an increase in foxtail last year. I talked to someone at the feed and seed store, who recommended products containing Barricade. Can also be sold under brand name Resolute. It is labeled for use on both of those (including crabgrass and many other noxious weeds and grasses). Has anyone used Barricade or the generic form of prodiamine? What were your results? TIA!

You had me intrigued, since we have found corn gluten to not do very well in controlling crab grass. But it doesn’t seem to be labeled for use in horse pastures.

Thanks, kcmel. Hadn’t actually checked into the product yet, wanted to get opinions first. Now I know to forget about it! I just hope the guy at store hasn’t been recommending it to other horse people, not realizing it’s not safe to use.
