Anyone familiar with Dream Coach Trailers?

Heard they’re nice but haven’t put my hands on one. Looking at the 2+1. Anyone love, like, hate them?

I am hauling one right now…HUNK OF JUNK, bad design, and not one singel piece of hardware is still attached. Thankfully I do not own it.

Also know of another one that a friend of mine had, it fell apart in the first year.

My best friend has a 3 horse slant by them. It is several years old now. The only thing I have heard complain about is the fact that sometimes it seems, to her, that it is like pulling a “parachute” behind her.

When I last visited her in Florida, her husband mentioned that he heard that Dream Coach was sold to another company, which may account for some of the less than stellar reviews…

the one i am pulling was made in 07 if thats any help. The other one was from the ealry 2000’s

Wow, thanks for the information. They look so great & they’re surely not cheap in price.

Love mine!!! I have an 2005 4 horse head to head and wouldn’t trade it for the world. No problems, horses love it, no complaints!!

Jumpingbrandy, Did you buy your trailer new?

I bought it in 2007 and it was the dealerships demo trailer so it was basically new. It had never had a horse in it but had some miles on it from going to shows.

I got one used a few years ago. It was new in, probably, 2006. 4 h gn stock with dressing room (4’). I love it. Hauls great. Horses love it. Love hte tack room - never had one of those before. Love hte floor and inside sides (rumber.)
The only thing - it is alumimum, and those hinges etc. are not as strong as steel (duh.) I had hte back door fall off one day when I let it slam open and its pressured hte hinges. Oops.
And, yes, hte screws/nuts that hold the front side door latch have come loose, and the tack room door doesn’t shut properly without fidding. And my horses have nibbled the rubber strips off the wheel wells (not the manuf. fault, there, though.)
I do really like it. WOuld not have been able to buy it new, no way, but for the sweet deal I got on it (paid, I think, $10k plus a $5k trade of a steel featherlite 4h gn stock with no tack room) I love it. Worth the minor annoyance of a few things not quite right (if I had a man around those things would be fixed in a jiffy by any old handyman.)

I have an 05 4Horse stock combo, and I like it. I bought it well used, and have not had any big problems with it.
I think its a nice trailer.

Does anyone know who bought Dream Coach?

Does anyone know who bought Dream Coach?

My BO has a Dream Coach. She’s not happy with it. Some of the designs are not well executed. The roof liner drops down and has a very small amount of it under the lip of the metal band. The trailer she much prefers, my Eby combo stock trailer with a dressing room. Big quality difference.

I believe they are out of business. I found an old post in another forum from 2011 that said they were and the website is gone.

I have an 07 3 horse slant bumper that I bought new and love it! It still looks new, and have had no problems with anything and it lives outside. I ordered mine so I got exactly what I wanted as far as extra height, stud dividers, the Rumber floor and other extras. It was well priced. However as others have mentioned, they are no longer in business. I do not know if they sold or to whom they sold too.

Take under, are you just rubbing it in that you have an EBY??? They are the best.

I have an '05 2H GN w/DR that I bought new (and it was not cheap!). HATE it - it has been a real lemon. Had to replace both axles; DH had to repair/replace some wiring; roof leaks (was fixed 2x and still leaks). Even though it rides well and the horses seem to like it, I would never buy another one. JME - there are a lot of them around here (central VA) and I know other people who are happy with them. If I buy another trailer I would consider a Jamco or Eby.
