I’ve looked….
have they had trot up inspection? The FEI web site is not really very user friendly nor does it indicate when the inspection is.
Vet inspection is today (Tuesday).
Isn’t the draw after that ?
Yes. The draw isn’t until the end of the day before the competition.
Is anyone going? I am in Lincoln and am planning on going Friday afternoon.
I watched the familiarization session today and couldn’t tell who the horses were. The FEI website kept showing me the officials not the horses.
I suppose I can just buy the program, but….
There were some interesting moments in the session-I’ll let someone else start a thread about that….
You will have a blast. I went last time and am sad to not be there this time. Neat place and I LOVED the town.
If the have the trade fair around the warm up like they did before it’s very very cool.
Enjoy!!!

I went the last time the FEI World Cup was there and it was awesome! Looking forward to going this year
The orders of go (with times) are listed in the World Cup ATHLETE app for your phone.
I put ATHLETE in allcaps because there’s more than one app and I got the wrong one first. (I believe live scoring is in there as well!) The other app is fairly useless, lol
The only thing I couldn’t handle were those escalators!!!
OMG. Crying like a toddler looking at them. I stuck to elevators and stairs. But then I am terrified of heights.

Two riders from San Diego - Steffen and Anna - are from San Diego.
They both have clients, supporters and family in the region.
For some reason COTH posts an article with Central/East Coast times only…
"For the dressage competition, which begins at 1:15 p.m. Central Time (2:15 p.m. Eastern) today… "
Going forward, It would be appreciated if COTH WC coverage included Pacific Time with the other time zones.
Yes, I know the start list is in local Central Time only. The list comes from show organizers, and not national media.
This is such a COTH thing to complain about.
How many go on to the freestyle?
They all do. Order of go is posted on the Longines site.
It’s in military time…does anyone need help translating it to regular time on the west coast? LOL
I was raised in the military and I still frequently use military time. I always forget that many folks don’t understand a 24 hour clock.
But for anyone stumped - anything after 12:00 is PM. If you subtract 12 hours from the times showing on the site, you get the local time (i.e., Omaha time). So the first ride scheduled for 18:15 hours is 6:15 PM. Omaha is Central time zone - so add one hour if you are in the Eastern time zone (7:15 PM). Subtract one hour if you are in the Mountain time zone (5:15 pm). Subtract two hours if you are in the Pacific time zone (4:15 pm). This is assuming everyone is on Daylight Savings Time. There are some areas that don’t do Daylight Savings Time - for instance, Arizona is still on standard time, so the first ride goes at 4:15 pm for those folks.
(And I hope I computed correctly - the dog is dancing at the door, so I was typing fast!)
Not me. And I doubt San Diegans do…it’s a military town.
But in COTH’s article they converted central time (12 hr clock) to eastern time…apparently believing that east coasters needed help with it. Do you need help ? Of course not.
It’s just odd journalism to omit the time zone for 2 out of 3 US dressage riders.
Just stick with local central time and everyone’s happy.
