Anyone got birthday cake/cupcake recipes for horses with not too much sugar? My horses birthday is next week and I want to make her either a cake or probably little cupcake muffins.
I make little “cupcakes” for my horses aka a scooped out apple with chopped up apple and carrots with mixed in oats and some sort of syrup like molasses.
This would be fun!
I decorate my goats’ pen every year for their birthdays (both in the same month). Horse doesn’t get the same treatment, a situation of which I believe she is fully aware.
I always made bran muffins for my horse herd to feed on January 1 which is the birthday for several of them (the thoroughbreds and the grades with unknown foaling dates). I usually used barn molasses and animal bran but otherwise followed a usual human recipe.
