Anyone have a Smart Strike?

Just wondering as I recently acquired one (oops, just went to take photos and came back with a horse ) and I love him .
My guy is so smart, no pun intended,, great personality, and mostly easy going. He’s only been back in work for a few weeks after a year turn out at the breeders farm and is just learning how to be a riding horse so quickly. He’s already being ridden through hanging tarps, going over a x-rail here and there and hacking around the farm.
I may have the opportunity to get a couple more so just want to know if anyone else has experience with them as a riding horse?

Mine FYI is out of a Gate Dancer mare.

TIA.

Get any pics of him?

Btw, Pedigreequery lists four Smart Strike foals (3g, 1f) out of Dancer’s Gate (the only Gate Dancer broodmare bred to SS, apparently.) What was his racing name?

Wow, what a nice looking horse.

Thanks Laurie
He is a real sweetheart!

BTW—they jump like deer-- a friend of mine has one and the other day he was not in his paddock-- she went looking for him and found him in the pasture next door— after inspecting the fence for a spot where he could have slipped through, we have concluded that he jumped the fence–4 panel board fence!!! No skid marks from from take off or landing either, it’s like he was teleported to the other pasture!!!
