Anyone have a The Spider Arena Conditioner? Or, Drags for use behind a Kubota Side UTV

I need a drag for weekly use between when I remove all the jumps from the arena for the tractor and drag. (The 3 point drag is 9 feet wide and unwieldy if theres any jumps in the arena. And i can’t remove the jumps weekly, because someone decided to concrete the bases) Right now i am using a kubota UTV with a chain harrow, but its just not getting in deep enough. I saw this drag online https://horsetackonline.com/products/the-spider-rotary-harrow-conditioner
Has anyone used this? How did it do?
Or, recommendations for a drag thats 4-6 feet wide for a ATV or UTV.

We have one and I really like it, does a good job. My sand gets hard after it rains and this does a good job breaking it up and fluffing it. If you’re really looking for something to tear into the footing hard this will not cut it because it’s not super heavy. It does work a lot better than a chain harrow.

Thanks! This is exactly what I wanted to know. I don’t need it to really dig in, just do a better job than the chain harrow which really just smoothed the top out.

It spins and throws the sand if that’s what you want.

The price seems too good to be true.

@enjoytheride - when you say it doesn’t dig real deep, can you estimate just how deep is not too deep? are you using cinder blocks on it for additional weight?

I know right. Seems low. BUT it is only 4 feet wide

This works for me! I would be pulling with a Honda Rancher and don’t have a huge ring, but I definitely need something to dig a bit when it gets really hard in the summer. I may just call Country Manufacturing and ask about it.

Let me know what they say! Alternatively if I get one I’ll post pics of it in action

It doesn’t dig any further than it’s tines, which are 3 ish inches long. We have weighted it when we had hard dry footing but if you have compacted clay and dirty you want to churn up it’s not going to do a very good job. We have sand.
