I am looking for boarding options in the Wellington/Loxahatchee area. I found Paradigm Dressage/Free Spirit Friesians. It is pretty impressive – as is the trainer. However, I have heard rumors that give me pause. Feel free to post here if you have any positive info. PM me if your information is less than positive, but you think it is important for me to know. I just found him on you tube and I really enjoyed watching his lessons. No clue about anything negative. But I would love to hear more about him

I haven’t bothered to read the Barisone thread because it was a novel by the time I came across it. Google says Leif aho and that thread are linked so I’m maybe we will finally get the TL:DR of that whole ordeal.

I understand people wanting to give others a chance, but I wouldn’t want to be at a barn where she is nor would I want to support that BO/trainer with any of my funds.
I know that you’re not going to get along with every other boarder, and maybe she’s been totally harmless in her time there, but for me, it’s still a solid no.
That’s just my personal opinion, and we all have different comfort zones.
There’s all sorts of crazy in the horse world, but that whole tragic debacle was on another level.

Agreed. Especially since in this case it’s entirely possible to do nothing wrong and still become a target. Just not worth the risk.
