Anyone have hunter over fences video with a major mistake or two or three willing to share?

HI!

I have been asked to make a slide and video presentation on Hunter over Fences to a 4-H judge’s group. I am looking for good quality stills and videos that show errors/mistakes/oopsies such as short + long distances, chip, awkward, 3 - legger, a gasper, refusal, slide through, knock down, swap, kick out, spook and etc. I promise to treat your riding with great respect and the footage will only be used for this presentation. I did view the USHJA video with Danny Robertshaw which was great and well done but I am looking for even more obvious mistakes than were shown in that video. The group will be very new to evaluating a jump round. AA level, lower rated or schooling show/in barn show videos are all great as long as the video quality is very good. I want that tight distance SHORT and that gappy distance LONG just so it is very obvious. I looked on Youtube and FB and found some of the mistakes I am looking for but the video quality was very poor/fuzzy, far away/wobbly etc. Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

I can certainly help . Do the vidos need to be “A Show Quality?” I have some of my green horse, but he’s not always braided, and we don’t have a consistent lead change yet. We don’t mind being in a “what not to do” presentation .

I need a moment to find, but somewhere I have a dramatic video of my guy swapping three different times to a fence as he contemplated how he felt about it

This young lad was thinking so hard about holding his lead on the long approach on the diagonal that he forgot how to canter forward at the same time and suddenly the distance got very long
