Anyone here use the Pony Box

An update!

They unblocked me from their social media. Responded to my emails…“the boots are shipping with your saddle pad!”

A box came today…and in it was my saddle pad. And ONLY my saddle pad. Still no boots. I emailed them today, got a prompt response. “They will ship Friday.”

OH OKAY.

I have been told they have been or will be shipped now:
12/20, 12/31, 1/10, 1/27, 2/12, 2/24, 3/6, and now today.

Who wants to start taking bets on whether I will ever get them?

Lachelle, with everything that has been said about how bad the boots are do you really want them now?

By the way what is the saddle pad like?

At this point it’s the principle of the matter… haha

The pad looks to be ok quality. I haven’t used it yet. Once I get to put it on my horse I’ll let you know if I find any defects.

Yeah, I could see wanting them to ship the boots, because you did pay for them, and they should send them…

But “Pony Box” aka Mae “sport boots” are WORTHLESS from what I have seen. Can’t even be put on a horse properly, that is if they don’t fall apart in your hands.

What a waste. I wonder what their mark up is. If they are paying the Chinese manufacturer more than $2 per pair of boots - they are paying too much!

J U N K

Some people paid over $80 for them?!

Thats not how boots should fit / be put on

Shysters.

Wow- and now they are stealing pictures of custom western tack sets that sell for $400 and saying that they will include them in their $75 box.

THE PHOTOS ARE STOLEN. WHAT IS SHOWN IS NOT WHAT THEY SELL.

What F’ing SCAMMERS! I really hope someone gets an attorney and NAILS THEM.

Here is the “real product” (half way down)

And Pony Box’s page with STOLEN images:

Well, from what I can see most of the pictures of their products that they use to sell them before they’re in hand have been photo shopped and stolen.

I’m clearly late on following up, but there was another story done by KAMC in Lubbock, TX about TPB. Everyone might have already seen this, but I thought I’d share. Also, if you haven’t received your product or refund by now, you most likely will not, even if you ordered items for April.

To anyone wanting a reliable alternative to APB, I use a horse box (like some other posters) and have been very happy. I have never had a box late. However, I was very disappointed i didn’t win the ogilvy pad contest :frowning:

I’ve been getting more involved with the StreamHorseTV.com website and business lately. Giddy-Up Goodies has advertised on our site. They are wonderful to work with. They answer phone calls and emails, and they donated a three-month box subscription for our 2000th Twitter follower contest. They post pictures of what’s in each box after the boxes get shipped, and the recipients have had time to get them. The Velvet Rider just did a product review for them. TPB seems to have completely cut and run. A shame for all the people who will never see their products or money. Hopefully most can get this resolved through their bank or credit card company. The custom box idea was great and it seems it would have been wildly successful, so it’s too bad someone with actual business sense and experience didn’t think of it. It’s very evident that there was no startup capital, no inventory built up to begin with, and they thought they would collect all the order money for each month and then use that to pay for the products from suppliers for that same month. Giant fail.

What a total scam!!!

What on earth are they actually going to put in the $75 box then?
Don’t they realize people are gong to complain when it doranf match the picture?

You are absolutely correct. The owner of the company has completely disappeared, and there are still so many people out of product or money. Not to mention, there are several merchants who have not been paid either. There are some detailed posts on “The Pony Box Scam” Facebook page, as well as steps for those who are needing refunds to take. It’s all very unsettling and frustrating.

I wonder what scam type business the owner of Pony Box will start up next?

There have been rumors that she will start The Pony Box back up after the summer, but that remains to be seen. This isn’t her first rodeo when it comes to taking money from people either.

She will have to move out of state if she wants to start a new business. She’s got TX authorities investigating her at this point from what I have read online. She won’t be allowed to process money via PayPal, and her name will forever be connected to this disaster.

No way that The Pony Box will start back up. She would have to fork over $$$$$ to all those people she screwed over first. And then what…MAYBE convince a few people who haven’t heard of her to buy products from her?

Oh, I agree. There’s no coming back from this. What she has done is inescapable at this point. Maybe I should have clarified my earlier comment; she had told all of her ambassadors that she would start back up after the summer. But we can safely assume at this point that that won’t happen. I personally hope every customer and merchant can get every penny they’re owed.
