Anyone is Ocala/Morriston who could check out a property for me?

Anyone near Ocala/Morriston who could drive by a piece of land for me?
Thanks!

Sure, send me a PM of the address. I’ll be out in Morriston Saturday.
Have you tried google maps satellite view?

I have! I like the way it looks, but I just want to know if smells bad or the neighbors seem crazy or anything. I’ll send you a PM tomorrow

Hope everything checks out. Most of us have a few nutty neighbors. If we don’t, we’re the nutty ones. And we all smell bad this time of year, lol!

Welcome to Florida!

What would make it smell bad?? Is this something normal in Florida??

I am sure she meant it in a “gut feeling” sort of way. Florida doesnt smell bad. Even the mangroves have a unique smell.

Something like a chicken or pig farm or a composting facility nearby.

We have a lot less CAFOs here than other states, thank goodness.

Essentially this.
I once, about 15 years ago, went to go look at a perfect house. I was super excited as it was under budget and the house looked to be in great shape. I drove up, and drove away. It was right next to a sewage treatment plant. This was back before google earth was widely used.

The majority of Florida actually smells pretty good. Lots of flowers!

It helps that we have breezes from two coastlines (three if you’re far enough south). We have very little air pollution unless you’re in a city. Nice blue skies and fresh air.

This! I’m nestled in amongst a whole bunch of huge cattle farms, and they only thing I ever smell is fresh air and grass/plants.

Back when I was farm-hunting, I saw a listing for a nice little place with beautiful pine trees bordering the property. Really glad I did a driveby first, bc those trees were blocking a great view of the regional landfill across the road…
