Yup, it’s one of those posts. 
Yeeears ago I remember reading this name in the racing results of my newspaper and it’s always stuck with me because–well, how could you forget the poor horse that had that moniker? :lol: It has remained one of the worst names I have come across in a racehorse, and the funny thing was he was often in the money so he wasn’t a complete dud. “This Duds For You” ran at Thistledown in Ohio in the late 80s. I lived in Indiana at the time where racing wasn’t yet legal, so I’d pour over the OH results in the sports section of the Indianapolis Star to get my racing fix and quickly learned the names of horses I favored. This boy is the only one I still recall by name.
He may not have been a thoroughbred; he isn’t showing up in the database. A quick Googling found his name mentioned in some of the papers but I can’t access the page without signing up for a subscription. At least I got confirmation I wasn’t imagining things!
