Anyone know what hunt this is from?

Anyone know what hunt this is from? Darling!

Imgur

I think it is from a hunt in Ireland, I have it somewhere else but not readily available.

Love the horse in back. He’s thinking “what the heck is THAT!??!!” Just adorable, I wish we had ponies in my area that can teach the littles to foxhunt.

Mike already posted it, via a Facebook link.

It’s on the Countryside Alliance FB page.

Here is the Facebook link, may be info there as to which hunt:

and another photo of the pair:

The child is wearing her Pony Club tie and dad is a professional hunt servant as he is carrying a white whip. The hunt coat is blue with a number of buttons, front and back, and a green collar… so somewhere it should be possible to ID those.

Great pictures

His velvet has faded.

Ahh hah. Maybe he inherited the coat from his grandfather… Nothing like good equipment built to last. Some coats I have seen could probably go hunting on their own, they have been around for so many years.

I don’t see how you get a green velvet collar. My eyes aren’t the best, but I process the color in the second photo as faded black velvet.

From the hunt website:

Gentleman Masters wear dark blue coats with black velvet collars four brass buttons down the front, and two at the rear. The ribbons will be down on their hats.

Yeah, that’s not green, that’s faded black.
