Just saw some FB status’ saying they are praying for Brian Anderson and hoping he ‘keeps fighting’?
Has anybody heard anything about this? Does it seem he’s gonna be ok?
Hoping it’s less serious than it sounds and he comes out of it ok!!
No haven’t heard anything. Will check with my couple contacts and see if they know. Would this be John Anderson’s brother?

Bryan had a terrible accident while riding yesterday and is in ICU. Pray for him and everyone who loves him.
Yes it’s John Anderson’s brother.
Oh no! That’s terrible! I pray he pulls through!!
Any updates in how Brian is doing? Crossing fingers it’s good news!
I just read that he passed away. Thoughts and prayers to his family!
Yup, read he passed. RIP.
Oh no. What sad news. RIP.
oh NO! What happened? What kind of accident?
Yes, I just got that update a couple hours ago. So incredibly sad. I feel so sorry for all his family and friends.
Godspeed my old friend. I am remembering the fun times we has together as youngsters. You will be missed by all. Rest in peace.
So tragic. He was out on a hack with students and his horse tripped and fell on him. He was revived but passed away shortly after.
So sorry to hear that. Thoughts and jingles for the Anderson family and friends.

UPDATE from Susan Anderson (posted ‘6 hrs ago’ @ 7:26 EST): “Please know Bryan’s last breath will be tomorrow he is still with us and is going to give some new families hope and life tomorrow by becoming a donor.”
Immense sadness today upon learning that Canadian show jumper and popular equestrian Bryan Anderson was on life support in a Calgary hospital after a riding accident. Strength and support goes out to his beautiful wife Cari and the entire Anderson family.
Yesterday was a sad one for our sport.
Keep the friends and familiies of both Damien Gardiner and Bryan Anderson in your thoughts today.
So sad to hear about the tragic death of a fellow horseperson, but wonderful that they are using their bad situation to give life to others.
so tragic when it was a simple hack… not a 5 ft jump on anything “dangerous”…
My thoughts are with his family and friends and commend them for thinking of helping others.
Rest in peace Bryan and may you meet Damien and enjoy a few rides with him!
My condolences to the Anderson family. I grew up watching the Andersons ride, all lovely riders that I admired very much. God Bless him for becoming a donor and helping to save the lives of others.

How very tragic =( How does everyone seem to know about his accident? Someone told me it was a trail ride.I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere. My condolences to everyone. Ride in paradise Bryan
It disgusts me. I heard someone bad mouthing him because they didn’t know whether or not he was wearing a helmet. Bryan was an amazing rider. The world will be a darker place without him
helmet or not, if the horse falls on you… it won’t make a difference!
So sad…
