Just saw this on Twitter:
I can’t imagine what a loose pony is doing in Kinloch! That area is about the last place I’d expect to see a long in the St. Louis area.
I hope the long is home now. I still can’t imagine where he came from — it’s not an area where I’d expect to find a horse. Then again, a few years ago someone near me was caught keeping a horse in his backyard. Horse was gone in a hurry once the city found out. Overland is another area where you don’t expect to find a horse.
I hope he’s home, too! Kinloch isn’t that far from Ace Stable, and there are pockets of property in North County where one COULD keep a horse, but maybe not legally haha…we always talked about putting a horse in our back yard, but never thought people actually did.
That is true. If he escaped from Ace, he’s lucky he didn’t get hit on the road there, it’s busy. There are some vegetable farms along I-170, he could have come from there, too.
Actually there used to be quite a few horses in backyards in that area. Little barns behind the houses and everything. Even a show horse or two hanging out. Not sure if Kinloch was one of those little towns but they were but definitely within view of Lambert.
Also there were a few horses still on the Hill.
And this was circa 1994.
Actually there used to be a handful of horses in that area. Little barns behind the houses. Lambert clearly visible in the background.
There were also still a few horses in The HIll
This was circa 1994.

It’s ridiculous to say put a tracker on your pony because ponies look horrible with gps trackers… Or do they?
