Since my longtime supplier has switched to delivering tractor trailer loads, I’m looking for people who’d like to share a trailer of hay (approx 550 bales). Orchard-Alfalfa mix.
This is always beautiful hay. But I’m down to one horse who can eat alfalfa, so I only need about 250 bales.
He’s charging the same as last year: $8.25 a bale. Southern States is charging $10 for small bales of last year’s third cutting mix, which has only a tiny bit of alfalfa. Don’t know what SS will charge for this year’s second cutting mix.
