If so, how did it go? In searching for a specific model I discovered they have several reasonably priced options on consignment that might fit my 4-legged grandson. With as much trouble as I’m having finding anything under $3k locally, the price to ship a saddle from WA to VA is merely a drop in the bucket.
I tried saddles from them. Unfortunately, they didn’t work but Courtney was fabulous to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business there.
I have not personally bought a saddle from them, but a friend at the barn had a great experience buying a used saddle from Olsen’s. They got a good deal because it had been on the floor for a while. Olsen’s is a great small shop to work with and are very responsive with shipping and customer service.
This is great to hear!
this is the main stay tack shop for the Greater Seattle area. Long standing reputation and quality
Yeah they really do have a good reputation, and they work hard at maintaining it unlike some shops that got a good name and just pissed it away with crappy service (looking at you, other well-known Seattle-area tack store)
I tried a few saddles from them earlier this year and they were very easy to work with! Ultimately none of them worked because my pony and I are a hard to fit combination (short, round fjord back and I have a big butt) but I would look there again! All the saddles we tried were in great condition, clean, and the return after trial process was easy with no hidden charges.
I have both purchased a saddle and sold a saddle through Olsons. Mike and crew are fabulous and the store is totally legit. Two thumbs up.
Yup, very reputable store. Go for it!
Yes. They were good to work with even after sending the wrong saddle. Their prices on used saddles are competitive.
I have purchased from them but I was local at the time. They have an excellent reputation and I would have no problems ordering one from them to be shipped.
