I have qualified to show (Golden Backstage Pass-woot!), but most likely won’t go this year, but would love to hear anyone’s experiences there. What is it like? How competitive? How expensive?
This is the first year USHJA is holding the affiliate championship classes. It will be interesting to see how it goes; several years ago there was a move to do away with all the lower level classes due to time and space restrictions from what I understood. There is limited stabling as all the stabling is under the casino itself.
Las Vegas National is a fun show, held entirely in the Southpoint Casino. Tons of fun stuff to do at the casino and in Vegas itself. Congrats on qualifying!
Congratulations! A friend did the 2’ USHJA hunter division two years in a row and had a blast. She had fun showing, fun watching, and loved being able to cruise down to the stabling from the hotel to check on her horse.

I have not been to the show, but I’ve heard that you can watch the live feed in your hotel room so you know exactly when to hop in the elevator and go downstairs to the show ring. That sounds fantastic! Lol.
My trainer is there this year with a couple of horses. I’ll check in when she gets back.
