Other than how to tailgate detail seems spotty. Any insights? Thought I might run down for a few hours to try to catch the 4*L which starts at 11.

Update. Nice day for the horses. Bit breezy for me who didn’t bring a jacket. Easy enough to navigate. Volunteers are very friendly. Hold on course after a fall. About 8 left in the 4L. Announced 4S should start on time.

I hope so too. I was walking the course and heard/saw an ambulance leaving lights and sirens.
Joe Meyer’s FB says: “Joe and Harbin had an unfortunate tumble today at the end of a super xc round at Morven. Joe was taken to hospital and has broken ribs and a small laceration on his liver which he will need to stay in the hospital for monitoring a few days. Harbin has some scrapes but is 100% ok. Thanks for all kind messages!”

Yes, the ambulance was definitely for Joe. I saw him jump the first water and looked great. Was coming home well under the time at the time of the fall. I got there just as Joe started, not sure about Sharon White.
