Anyone know of an anti-caking MSM? I’m sick and tired of having to break up my MSM every time I go to refill the supps.
MSM is hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs water from the atmosphere. The hydrated from is probably cakier. You could put something in there, like those little packets that say “silica - do not eat,” that does a better job of absorbing the water than the MSM. On a separate note, I understand why you find those in vitamins but am totally unclear on why there are sometimes present in shoe boxes:confused:.
lol, I don’t get why they’re in shoes either.
SmartPack is having a sale today thru tomorrow, code SNOW15 for 15% off order. I just got 10lbs of MSM for $45
AWESOME thank you! (the SNOW15 works on smartpaks too!) I just used a 20% the other day, plus free shipping. It’s my lucky week.

I’m currently using Select The Best cause it’s cheap. I really don’t want to go back to pellets because they won’t all fit into my supp container.
Has anyone tried Horsetech’s OptiMSM? Are there any other brands out there that won’t cake/harden?
I use Vita Flex MSM. @21-23/ 4 lbs. Granules that don’t cake.
There some really good information on MSM in this thread http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241739&highlight=msm+animed
I personally switched from AniMed to Su-Per MSM Ultra Pure from GP Direct when AniMed wouldn’t tell me whether their ingredients were from the United States or not. I have been very happy with it. Their shipping is fast and free if you spend over $25. http://www.buygpdirect.com/gpenutr.htm

Try the Horsetech, I have found it does not cake like many other brands do.
Did GP Direct tell you where their ingredients were from ? Curious as I use GP Direct.
Do you know that is used for erectile dysfunction treatment by the way
