I’m looking for input for anyone who has ridden with him. Did you learn a lot? Teaching style? I’ve been approached about putting together a small clinic series for low and mid-level riders and his name came up as a potential fit. Feel free to PM as well. Thank you!
I rode in a two day with him. If I was you I’d pass - there’s better people out there. I didn’t get anything out of it as a fairly experienced amateur with confidence issues. I was having trouble geftting down the lines (or thinking I couldnt get down the line) and the only feedback I got was “it’s there.” No advice on opening the step or riding the in different. Just “it’s there.”
LOL. My response would have been “yes, I know it’s there. That’s not my problem. My problem is FINDING IT.” LOL.
I took a clinic with Robin and the comment “it’s there” worked great for me. And it allowed me to have the confidence to jump higher (120).
Now I did hear a suggestion to another rider to take a different line into the 5 stride (that we were working on) and it did help them make the 5 stride ride more fluid.
