Anyone use EQUISTRO FLEXADIN UC-II? worth the money?

Considering trying it for a 27 yr old Thoroughbred. Farrier feels she is very broken down behind and wonders if a Supplement might help her tendons ligaments. Seems that most supplements that support tendon/ligament are based around Collagen, specifically Type II, after one research this one seems to be the only one that is indenatured, and this seems to be the best absorbed.
So anyone use it? worth the money? she is already on Equioxx, and a joint supplements.

I am following your post, as my vet just mentioned this supplement to me last night. Expensive, but she has seem some clients have really good luck with it. I can’t find much about it online. What I did find that it is only to be given for 12 weeks.

@emricmacy Yeah, I’ve been trying to get more info… I read the instructions as giving a double dose for 12 weeks then going to one dose after the 12 weeks…

Yes, I read that too this AM! My gelding had pretty moderate high ringbone in his right front pastern, and a vet told me that her boss tried this supplement on a few of her own personal horses that required hock injections every 6 months, and after awhile on this supplement, she was able to extend the hock injections.
The ingredients don’t really look like much I guess? Do you know where to buy this? I don’t even know if this is a new product or not?

@emricmacy i think I found it on chewy.com. And I wouldmhave to do a google search again but I found some discount site that had it for almost half the price of everywhere else. I don’t think it’s particularrly new, seems like it’s been available in Europe for awhile. So maybe it’s new to the US market?

My vet suggested it for my mare that does not do well with steroids from joint injections. I am on my 2nd bottle and still doing loading dose. Mare is doing well and as a side note her ulcers seem to have improved as well.

please don’t tempt me into buying ANOTHER supplement
