Anyone use Omneity from Mad Barn?

I’m looking for a vitamin/mineral supplement for my new horse since a FeedXL graph shows his current diet is lacking in some essentials. I board, so I don’t have the option of changing hay, etc.

I initially picked SmartVite Perform since it covers all the gaps at a fair price, but I’m curious about Mad Barn Omneity, too. It seems to be used mostly in Canada, but the nutritional profile is very similar, as is the cost.

Anyone have any experience of this company and feed?

My super easy keeper gelding gets low sugar orchard/Alfalfa in a slow feeder and Onmeity. I did a trace mineral blood panel on him this summer and all levels were within normal range. this horse has a history of ulcers so he is getting very nice quality hay. He had lovely dapples in his chestnut coat all summer long. In BC we are selenium deficient the Onmeity definitely took care of that.

That’s good to know. We tend to be selenium-deficient here in SoCal, so I’m definitely interested in supplementing that.

Test the horse first. Omneity has 3mg Se in a 120gm serving, which might end up inducing chronic toxicity if the horse already tests on the higher end of normal.
