I like the look of these, but can’t find any reviews on them. I’d love to hear any experiences with them.
i trialled the precision…fits nice, sits nicely but did nothing for my horse.
that said he has always been super easy contact wise-even,soft, relaxed in the neck etc.
the only negative was that fly veils would NOT stay put under it, so for that reason i sold it on and bought a Fairfax which my horse DID like. Just a smidge softer in the poll in canter, not so inclinded to tighten the topline in the upward transitions. and bonus fly veils stay put!
i will warn you the leather quality of the fairfax is total CRAP. got rained on once, carefully towel dried and cleaned with the recommended fairfax balm and hey, looks like a £10 indian piece of ebay crap now but thankffully i only have the headpiece, the cheeks, noseband etc are a better quality different brand of bridle so its not TOO noticeable.
i only stick with it because the horse likes it.
I have the precision, have had it since Rolex in April, and my horse really likes it. However, I’m not sure it would be dressage legal. It’s not in eventing dressage, so I have it only on my jumping bridle.
There is zero pressure on the poll and ears with it. With the bridle fitting properly, I can slide my entire hand under the crownpiece and down the cheek.
