My friend has a half appy/half WB that is pretty darn adorable. I had to talk her into buying him because of the spots…but years down the road, she thanks me because he’s the best horse she’s ever owned.

BTW - I hotlinked to the photos because while they were purchased, I can’t find them in my FB. (I keep losing stuff there…GRRR). Even though these are watermarked, these were purchased and I specifically hotlinked to avoid the ‘stealing photos’ thing.

It’s as hard to find a good app as a good apha/aqha these days. I am very frustrated searching and have basically given up and decided I’ll just buy another warmblood (even though I really, really want an apha/aqha). Boy have these breeds been turned into something odd over time. Even more so than when I was doing breed shows in the 80s/90s.

I’m finding the same @vxf111. Would love to find an app/apha/aqha but it’s not easy to find something that isn’t built downhill.

Wish I could help but my friend bred him. He’s out of an appy mare with nothing particular to recommend her and by the stallion Nevada. I think his can-do attitude came from his dad…or maybe it is just how he came out. He’s seriously such a happy dude and up for anything. Very in-your-pocket. Anyone that his ridden him has fallen in love. I rode him once (I’m really too big for him at 5’7" and stout) and that’s when I started plotting that my 5’2" friend needed to buy him. . They are my favorite pair at the barn.
