Those boxing classes kind of makes you want to go show, do they.
I have to post the win interview with Charlene Morgan, our Colorado grandmother who just beat 72 entries to win Ranch Riding. Charlene is “Super Select” which means over 70 years, in this case several years over. She is a real role model for older women with dreams.

Edited to add that some of you may know of Butch Morgan from the Western Horseman Magazine.

Neat, what an accomplishment, in tough company too.
I know the reserve champion and her wonderful horse.
That was a very competitive class.
Posting the Western Pleasure winner interview, not for the performance which is not really shown (I do sort of remember her looking nice in the prelims) , but for the really nice jacket. I would love to own that jacket, but not for riding in.

Really wish that the recaps would show the winning rides. They use to just post the winning rides with no recap. Now they post recaps with no winning rides.
Whatscookngoodlookn has been winning lots and lots with different riders. Really nice mare.
Did you see 74 year old Rodger Call kicking some butt (again) and winning the working hunter?
This guy is my hero, such an inspiration. Also, how much does he love his horse?
there is quite a bit of his ride shown in this video.

That was a sweet story, thank you.
That lady doing the interviewing is a poster here.
She is a super nice person.

I saw that video. What a cute interview about the cookies and carrots! It is apparent that he really love that horse.
There were some good horses and riders in the Working Hunter class, a couple had chips after a long canter into the last line, but Roger Call just motored around perfectly. You think he maybe is being packed, but I saw him adjust the stride into a couple fences. He sure is my hero. That horse, with trainer, won the big first ever Huntfield Hunter Derby at the AQHA World in November several years ago, and Roger was so proud.

I saw that too, he did adjust the distance a few times, once I thought he was wrong coming around from the left and across, but the horse was perfect to the jump, so I guess he knew best.
I thought that was a well done interview.
