Arctic Cool?

Has anybody here tried this brand of products and been impressed with their cooling properties? Has anybody in a humid climate tried this stuff? Sometimes certain technologies work in a dry climate due to evaporation and don’t work in high humidity because there is no evaporation. I keep seeing ads for them on Facebook and wonder if this is something good or just something I wasted money on type of product.

I have 3of these shirts and do find them to be more comfortable than some of the other cooling brands. Plus they look nice enough to wear anywhere. I’m in North Carolina where it’s really humid and they do seem to alleviate my summer misery to some degree.

I had some when I lived in hot, humid Central Florida. In my opnion, they were nothing special. They didn’t keep me any drier and/or cooler than light tee shirts. Finally I started soaking them under the faucet and wearing them that way. Not worth my money.

Good to know. It looks like they cool by evaporation which may not happen as humid as it is here.

I bought a couple of things from them and have not been impressed. I’m in a very humid area of the mid-Atlantic. I also find the shirts have weird fit to them- the arms are like super tiny

I have liked mine - they are a pretty typical performance fabric, and I like the color options, so I bought some on sale. They are soft and comfortable and I now use them as sleep shirts since I tend to get hot at night.

Caveats: I’m in northern California, so dry climate; also, I tend not to use them outside because I usually like long sleeves and mine are short sleeved.

So: nothing special other than what you see in the image, but very serviceable if you’re looking for t-shirts or shorts in a performance fabric.

(edited to add: I’ve liked them enough that I’ve bought on 3 separate orders when tempted by sales.)

Have you tried linen, hemp or a hemp fiber mix? I can say I find them cooler than cotton. I haven’t tried tencel.
