So few events in Area 1 left.

Just saw the posting on Facebook tonight

Right? Very sad. Kent was one of the great introduction venues, and a good move up event. Sign of the times.

Geez by the time I’ll be able to maybe try Eddie at eventing there’s going to be hardly any events around

This is so sad to me, it was the first recognized event I ever went to as a kid, and also many fond memories of clinics with Michael Page there…

It was a great event.

Area 1 has lost 11 recognized venues in the last 10 years.

I’m trying to remember them all, but given that I never actually competed… I was getting ready to do BN at UNH when I had my bad riding accident and had to give up jumping. Here is my list (since 2008 when I was starting up…)
