Kristina Harrison has a Covermaster and has talked about it being really great to keep them riding this winter in Los Angeles. It sounds like the biggest issue is that they are some amount of work to put down and take off. If you have a team of people who can all be there at the same time to do that, you’d be in good shape, but reading between the lines, I’m not sure that one person could do it for example. So you have to ask yourself if you have this labor available.
Being able to get it on is going to be as important as having people to take it off… and let’s face it, most often that is going to happen when it is getting dark and everyone is going home.
The other thing to keep in mind is that a big tarp like this has to live somewhere when it’s not on the arena, and again, heavy.
But, if you’ve got the help, it would sure beat not being able to ride! Maybe there are some people who will Move Tarp For Beer around, if you don’t have a riding group handy.
