I searched first, no recent threads on it. I have (and love) cordless Andis Super AGR+ clippers. They are AMAZING. Like, go out and clip the dirty burritos in the paddock amazing, just as powerful but half as loud as my Andis AGC Super 2 Speed corded clippers amazing. I went to use them this spring and super sluggish, no way to use them. None. Rrrrrrrrrrr… just that noise, not even enough juice to move the blade. The little domahickey will move without a blade attached, but any friction and nada. Since Andis has discontinued them, I doubt they will repair them. Yes, I can ask, but in the meantime I do see some aftermarket batteries on the Interwebz. Anyone ever gone that route with rechargeable clippers?
Honestly I’d just ask Andis directly. I have a set of clippers that they discontinued the blades for (and maybe have discontinued the actual clippers later on, I haven’t looked), so I sent them a message on FB asking for recommendations for new blades from other brands. They sent me a link within a few hours, and the blades work great.
