Does anyone ride in these type of boots? I need something that is comfortable for both barn work and schooling work without having to change boots in between. The desciption pretty much says just that but I am wonder if they are safe to ride in? The soles don’t look too clunky in the pictures online however I have not seen any in person.
I ride in the regular Terrains sometimes in bad weather. I probably wouldn’t wear them for lessons (my half chaps don’t fit with them anyway) but as long as your stirrups are wide enough they are safe.
I don’t ride in those, but I spent many years riding in hiking boots with a small heel with no issues. If they fit your needs, they should be fine.
My husband and both have the lace up versions. He rides in his exclusively. He also has a pair for work (he’s a techie) Spring through fall I wear them for everything except for riding, and then I wear them about half the time. especially if I think I will be getting off and walking at all. They are wonderful to walk through the pastures in.
DD has a pair and rides in them all the time. Hers are lace-up, though.
