Assistance Needed for good leather paddock boots

I am an older re-rider and am looking for some great quality, comfortable paddock boots. Have broken both ankles and have a fair bit of arthritis. Occasionally suffer from plantar fasciitis.
My go to in shoes is Birkenstocks, and I will probably have to insert the “blue footbed” from Birkenstocks inside the paddock boot.
The DeNiro Traiano paddock boot is available about 2 hours from me.
Does anyone have any paddock boots they would recommend as quality and comfortable.
Thanks for any assistance.

Edit to add more info

If your budget can handle it, customs would be best.
I have a pair of Dehner pull-on paddocks that are 22yo. Comfortable as slippers from Day One & I have an uber-high arch.
Before these, I had their zip version, but barn grit ruined the zippers at 5yrs-ish & only Dehner had the correct size zips.

When I have plantar fasciitis flare ups, I tend to like the Ariat Heritage paddock boots. They have a cushier sole. I haven’t bought a new pair in a while so I’m not sure if they are still the same, but I put a ton of miles on those boots and stayed comfortable. I would think the lace ups would acclimate more to your ankles as well.

Consider buying some Arial insoles for whatever boots you buy. They are like $20. I have bad feet and have used these in the past for that little extra bit of cushion. You’ll want to replace them every 12 months or so. Or consider getting custom orthotics that you can put in all of your boots.

I like my Ariat side gore waterproof pull on paddock boots. I can ride, walk, and even jog a bit in them! Blundstones gave me chronic foot pain in the morning.

I have off the shelf lace up dehner paddocks and have worn them for around 10 years (I’m on my second pair). They were lovely to deal with when I called.

Unfortunately, Dehner closed its doors this past summer.

I really like my Roper crossrider lace ups. They are wide, and I’ve had them for years. They aren’t as expensive as most, but I need a wide toebox, which these have.

Thank you for this info. Very sad!

Oh rats - I was afraid that was coming. Love all of my Dehners so much.

Seriously? Darn, I didn’t know that!
