Athletic stallion wanted for 2017
I’ve never heard of a Sportaloosa. It is an Arab/App cross? Used in Arab racing?
Be proud of your mare.
But realistically you have no proof of her running that fast or her pedigree. So her foal would have nothing on paper to back up your claims. Took a look at the registry and she would be in the open book so if you want a registered foal, you need to use one of their recommend stallions.

(The above is if you’re actually a 14 year old in love with her pony. If not…this is trolling genius. Almost better then a chicken locked in an oven…but not quite. But close.)

Of course I’m in love with my pony! Would I hate her?

Go ahead and doubt. I’m not going to fight with you because I knew you would all doubt anyway… I’ve been on other forums before and I happen to know what you are all like. You may all love horses, but like most you doubt everything everyone says unless they’re 60+. I will not be deterred. You are wasting your finger energy replying with those answers, because I will pay no heed.

So why would you bother asking if you have it all figured out? Regardless of how fast your pony is…Everything that I said above is true.

         Sort of.

You know what is hilarious about all of this… I said the exact same baloney to my friend about my Appy mare when I was 14. EXACT

ROTFLMAO

Well, except the breeding part and the mare was registered

PS: this is a sport horse forum and you are looking for a racing stallion. What on earth would you expect? Unknown blood doesn’t exactly = sport horse because of … ya know “Sportaloosa” word thrown in (mine has spots too but he is a registered and inspected Knabstrupper with many generations of traceable blood)

This will never work because Mickey Rooney is dead.

Dead!

Is school out where you are? At least make your lies semi believable. Seeing the world record for a dirt mile in TBs is 1:32 and change the only way your pretend horse went a flat mile in under a minute is in your Mom’s car.
Yeah and as near as I can tell the world record for 400 yards is 18.613 seconds by Double Down Special, a quarter horse.

Now…your just being mean.
Kelly Reno is alive so she has a jockey.
Absolutely not BS. You have no idea how fast this horse is! What you mentioned is her average speed!!! Just accept it… She’s faster than a TB. Get it through!
I believe you OP. I want a video on a track with proper marks to judge speed myself so I can fully back you. And I want to, you know, just to see this amazing world record horse myself.

I am afraid we might get in a shipwreck.
I think I found some footage of this horse… Racing and winning!

Did Viggo Mortensen ever ride her? Bareback - just like a Native American? Apparently it helps give Sportaloosa’s a competitive edge.

Well I learned there are racing appys and paints. So thanks for that OP!

Depends upon how you define racing. Anyone can line their horse up against another horse and see who gets to whatever they decide to call the finish line first. Parimutual racing is a little more complicated than that. There are some fair meets with lenient entry regulations as far as breed and such is concerned but they are rare. Delaware Park does have one arabian race per card but they are actual arabians.

Apparently there is actual races limited to paints and appys on the out in the middle of gods country race track circuit and including tracks where there are parimutal betting …who would have thought?

As an example:

No she never raced in an actual race because she wasn’t registered until a little bit ago. We just ran her on racetracks against other horses and timed her, she broke two world records, but it will never be known, because we have no proof. She has won against an Akhal Teke/TB cross, a purebred TB, and MANY, MANY, grade horses. She has run in fair races. But no registered races! :frowning: I am still looking into racing options for her, although I wouldn’t want to race her now, as she is ten years old and has slowed down a lot. She was malnourished as a youngster and now can’t have more than 150 lbs on her back either. I doubt youve heard of her… She isn’t very popular, seeing, like I said, how she never ran registered.

She has done 400 yards, dirt, in 15.3 seconds, and a mile, dirt, in just under a minute.
A mile in under ONE minute???

What did I just read…?

Kid, maybe you need to try some creative writing classes in school. You sound like you would be perfect at YA horse fiction.

#Truth

This would make a great Hollywood movie. Horse is “saved” from match racing by a 14yo and her grandpa, registered then goes on to win the Kentucky Derby or whatever at 10 years old. I see the money signs already.

This reminds me of elementary school where I was convinced I could take a 17h barb stallion to the Olympics in showjumping! (the barb was my favourite pic in a World of Horses book  )

To the OP, I’m no where near 60+, but I can tell you it is not possible for an appy cross horse to go faster than a TB or quarter horse in racing. That’s like saying my Honda Fit can beat a Ferrari on a Formula One track. I have no doubt she was fast in her younger years, but I don’t think you heard the numbers (time or distance) correctly
