We are considering buying a pony mare that is in foal to Fox Cry Rose Cufflinks. Anyone know anything about this stud? He looks pretty nice from the photos.
She is a section B welsh mare with papers. Her sire is Westrums Black Pirate and dam is Alvesta Royal Beauty. Any info would be great, thanks a ton!
I like the mare line on the mare you are considering. What’s most important is that YOU like her. Are you more interested in her or getting a foal by him? He’s cute as can be!
Both, it is mostly an investment I would say. I saw his picture and just thought he was a stunner! And then they sent me pictures of the mare and she looks very similar and cute as a button. Wish us luck! What is it that you like about the mare line?

I like her sire’s dam line (the Glannant Tango) and the Downland & the Farnley of her dam’s.
The dam of Alvesta Royal Beauty is also the dam of our Section B stallion Alvesta Picasso. Alvesta Royal Beauty is also closely related to our new pony hunter stallion Daventry’s Power Play.

I am good friends with Adele who bred Hershey and I own Rosie (Burgundy Rosette). She celebrated her 29th birthday on April 29th! I adore Pooh, too- that stallion can MOVE! I own one of Rosie’s grand-daughters as well. So, as you can see, I’m a fan of the Fox Cry ponies!
I know that Hershey had done well showing, but I am not super familiar with him. I saw him at the MD Horse Expo and think he’s a nice looking stallion-- pretty head, nice mover, good body- he’s got substance and depth to him. I don’t know his babies to tell if his babies are as nice as he is.
