Looking for an alternative to a wheelbarrow to streamline mucking and dumping.
Any recommendations on a dump cart that can be pulled by 4-wheeler?

John Deer makes a very good dump cart ~ pulled with my Polaris ATV daily ~
I admit I use a golfcart for mucking and dumping. I get about 2 stalls into the dumpbucket and then I drive to the manurepile and dump it. I Golfcart is perfect for mucking except it really gets dirty…

I am considering this:
Zu Zu, do you have this one?
After lots of research and shopping, I am getting ready to buy a carryall golf cart with a hydraulic lift bed. I’m currently using muck buckets in the back of my current golf cart, but the lifting and dumping is taking a toll on my back. We looked at UTV’s with hydraulic lift but they are noisy and not as easy to maneuver.

We have loved ours since day 1. Paid for itself in broken muck buckets within a year.
Not to hijack, but for those that use a dump trailer, how do you dump it on the manure pile? I have one similar to the Brinly one that the OP linked, and I’ve only used it a couple of times because I couldn’t find the easiest way to dump it. It would dump halfway out and I’d have to drive the tractor forward to empty more of it and then I’d have to use the FEL on the tractor to scoop the mess from the dump trailer on to the manure pile…surely there’s a better way. What are your tricks?

This is the dump cart I use. http://www.homedepot.com/p/John-Deere-1-000-lb-17-cu-ft-Tow-Behind-Poly-Utility-Cart-PCT-17JD/100324117
I pull it with a 4-wheeler, drive onto the manure pile, tilt the bed and unload using a big heavy duty yard rake, like landscapers use. I am 69 and this is better for upper body strength than lifting weights, lollol
I also love my JD 17 CuFt. dump cart. It has been worked hard since 2006, not only hauling manure but also cement, cement blocks, poles, dead tree limbs to the burn pile. Some years back, I even cloroxed it, put a blanket & pillows in there and took my niece and nephew for a ride.
FWIW, I would not want that Ursa wagon because it doesn’t appear that it can be hooked to a vehicle. If I can’t sit on my butt and hit the gas to use something, it isn’t coming in this driveway, lollol

I am considering this:
I see that you ordered something else but I was going to say that this is not very good; we have this and you have to dump it down a hill or bank, or nothing comes out…ok, some comes out but you often have to use a pitchfork to get it all.
I think the only thing that ever got dumped out of it was my kids, by accident. Took them for a small ride and the dump level disengaged. Luckily we were only going about 1mph.
I am in the market for a new cart as well. My back can’t take trying to dump and shake the big wheelbarrow anymore.

I line my John Deere dump cart with a tarp. When I dump the contents, I just pull the tarp over end to get the rest out. No more shoveling it out.

I bought a hitch attachment so it can be pulled by my 4-wheeler. https://www.ursawagon.com/accessories/clevis-hitch
This cart is wonderful - holds much manure - dumps no shoveling

ETA * My JOHN DEERE carts were purchased in MARCH 2003 - remain sturdy and dependable in all weather and SNOW !
I looked at the links air horse provided. I know those would work under ordinary use, but we haul stuff in our dump cart that should have bent its little axle long ago. I would not be happy if I got half way to somewhere and the handle bent or let go, lol
For all the things we ask it to do that it wasn’t built to do, the JD dump cart is ten years old and is still going strong but I appreciate the links for the URSA - at least I can point that out to someone who might be interested in one:)

Oh! That’s a good idea! Ok, I’m gonna give it a try when I clean stalls in the morning
I LOVE THIS CART.
Seriously, could not function here without it. ZuZu recommended it and we have used it every single day. Easy to dump. We use an ATV to pull it. The damn thing can go anywhere. Best cart out there. Worth the money. I’d buy it again in a heart beat.
