Oh, that’s quite tempting. They produce some lovely horses. Two Billy Stud horses went to Rio, correct?
The Monart Sale has three or four that I would really like to have as well.

Not quite. Pippa Funnel competed Billy the Biz at Rio, who finished on an 84.3 in 26th to narrowly miss the jumping final. Billy the Biz was bred by The Billy Stud. This pair was the original travelling alternate for Team GB, and was called up to the squad when Izzy Taylor and Allercombe Ellie withdrew due to injury.
Replacing Pippa as the travelling reserve was Tina Cook with Billy the Red. She performed the test ride, but did not compete. However, Billy the Red is not a Billy Stud horse, though certainly confusing given how closely his name follows the convention of Pippa’s ride. He was bred in Germany by Dr. Michaela Weber-Herrmann. Fun fact: his damsire (Stan the Man XX) also sired Michael Jung’s legendary Sam.
Interestingly enough, Billy the Red was produced by Kathryn Robinson through Intermediate, and only went to Tina in 2014. Kathryn was also at Rio for Canada and did compete, though of course without much success.

My mistake! Thank you for the correction!
