Awesome deal on SmartPak blankets!

I bet you’ll be fine! I have always found them to run around 2" big.

WHY did I have to just see this now - AFTER I bought my spare blanket, finally? pouts

These blankets rub the crap out of every TB, WB and QH we’ve had them on… not worth the 100 buckkos…

I haven’t seen them rub a horse yet, but everybody’s experience is different.

So I am thinking my DD’s pony and my mare would look lovely in matching pink ones  Luckily enough my mare is a 78 and the pony is a 60! (or unlucky if you look at it from my wallets perspective )

another good blanket deal I found, though I cant quite tell what the weight/thickness/warmth of the blanket will be…

My TB is a 78, and weatherbeeta’s generally run large… think I’ll be ok? (not to thread hijack, but I came here because I was looking for a deal!)

Price ends up at 89.99 after shipping and ‘extra shipping fee’… still cheap I guess!

Couldn’t get the smartpak blanket… just couldnt put a gelding in a light pink

Deal spam… sorry…

Turns out theres a blanket (above) AND a sheet (below) on closeout!

SMALL PINK DOTS ON THE LABEL? Unacceptable! I’ll have to buy one so no one else suffers the indignity…[/QUOTE]

Amy, I have a smartpak stable blanket waiting to be returned(I think 78… maybe 75) if you want to try it on to make sure it fits first.

I have no issues with this. I got one of their argyle thinsulate turnouts a couple of winters ago and it’s fantastic. Doesn’t rub, doesn’t shift, weighs barely more than a sheet, can find my horse in the dark, still looks pretty decent, and I only paid $35 for it (it was 50% off and I had a gift certificate :D). My horse takes a 78 in his Weatherbeetas and his 81 Smartpak is a pretty similar fit, just a tiny bit too long.

I still giggle when I see him in it, though.

He’s going naked most of the winter, he will fit in blankies I already (I think), I’m registering him this month ($$), I am saving up for a girls’ day with friends, I am contemplating a race in Nov…

Help me get more reasons to not buy a blanket.

This is PERFECT (if a 78" will fit my gelding)! I’ve been blanket shopping and all the nice quality blankets I’ve found in the $100 range are solid colored. I want plaid or polka dots or something fun! Heading to my trainer’s to measure my horse.
