Awesome deal on SmartPak blankets!

These are the BEST blankets I have ever bought, and due to a manufacturer’s small defect, some sizes are discounted! These do run big, so if your horse is in between sizes, you can safely go down one. http://www.smartpakequine.com/smartpink-and-smartblue-thinsulate-turnout-blanket--3907p.aspx?cm_vc=Search

"Please note that selected sizes are at a discounted rate due to an imperfection on the label of the blanket, small pink dots can be found. This does not affect the quality of the blanket, only the aesthetics. Click here to view the label. The affected sizes are the following: SmartBlue sizes 51, 57, 63, 66, 69, 72 and SmartPink sizes 60, 63, 72, 78. "

The discounted price is $106.21.

If your SmartPaks are on auto-ship, you save an additional 10%.

If you are an AQHA member, you save another 5%.

My cost came to $90.28 per blanket!! And FREE SHIPPING!

I have these blankets that are on their 6th year of heavy use on multiple horses already, and look great! We have long winters up here, and blankets get a real workout. I have tried so many brands, and styles and without a doubt, these plaid Thinsulate turnouts are the BEST.

Just wanted to pass on the info for anyone needing a blanket!

Oh goodness gracious. I just ordered all the blankets I need, but I am SO tempted to get one of these…

Do not order blankets you dont need, do not order blankets you dont need, do not order blankets you dont need…

Darn you blanket enablers. Of course I need a spare now!!

LOL yeah I had to order a couple because I couldn’t pass up that great deal! Those blankets are worth their weight in gold

They are nice, I have one going on year 4 now and it is in perfect condition.

I know they run big but how big? My mare is a 76" so a big running 78" is way too big. Wondering about the 72"…?

How do you take advantage of the additional 10% if your supplements are on Auto-Ship? I just added one to my auto-ship Smartpak order, but it still has the $106 price.

I think they run maybe 2" or so big. Not as big as Weatherbeetas traditionally run, but definitely a couple inches.

You don’t have to use any code or anything for the 10% off. You just add it to your cart, and then when you get to checkout, you can see the additional 10% taken off as a promotion. But you have to get to the very end right before you submit it before you see it.

Otherwise you could alwas call their 800 number and they could make sure the discount is taken off for you.

SMALL PINK DOTS ON THE LABEL? Unacceptable! I’ll have to buy one so no one else suffers the indignity…

Are these made by Kensington? Does anyone know??

Yep, they are! I called SmartPak to verify that myself, because I know they used to be. I wanted to make sure that they still are since I didn’t see the “by Kensington” on their label. She told me that they are still the heavy duty Kensington textilene type fabric.

Also I love that these have all nylon linings instead of that awful cotton and mesh stuff that many manufacturers are going to now.

drat! The size my horse needs isn’t discounted, of course. She’s an 82-84, so I think the 78 would be too small.

My mare is a 75" weatherbetta. Hmm… my only concern is that my old Kensington fly sheet would get stuck behind her wither and pull on it. But it was a 78". HMMMMMM

I do not need another blanket…I do not need another blanket…I do not need another blanket…I do not need another blanket…

…but they are such a good price…

Must. Resist. :dead:

Thanks for sharing the offer! That’s just what I needed and for such a delicious price!

Oh, thanks for that!

Last time I bought a Thinsulate Blanket it was well over $300.00, and that was years ago. Since then, I’ve been looking for another, but no one up here, north of the 49th, carries Thinsulate horse blankets - or even knows what it is!

Now off to find a US delivery forwarding service, as SmartPak still doesn’t ship to Canada. sniff You lucky lucky SmartPak shoppers. I am filled with envy on an all-too-regular basis.

Crap!!! I’ve been getting ready to order my Smartpink blanket for Willa and then saw this! Was so excited but of course the 68 isn’t on the list! :frowning: BOOOOO!! Maybe I could put her in a stretching machine and make that pony a 72! Or put her in the dryer and get her into the 63?

Try going to the “checkout” page. My discounts usually don’t show up until I go to checkout and then they appear under “promo.”

All of my horses wear 81" - 86". :frowning:

I just ordered one for my bay gelding! He measures 80, I got the 78, based on them running large I should be good?

$95! Deal! Thanks!
