Baby wipe restoration???

I just found an “almost new” container of 200 baby wipes in my trailer dressing room. The tissues are still good, but bone dry. What should I pour in the plastic container to revive them?? I’m thinking baby oil, alcohol or water. Any advice? I hate to throw them away. Thanks.

You can bring them back to life with a cup of water poured over the stack of dry wipes. Works like a charm!

I would do alcohol personally, but I’ve never tried it.
Let me know if it works.

NOOO! Not oil or alcohol. Water. Only water.

Unless you want them to do a different job than they were meant for.

And put them in a ziplock freezer, so they’ll “live” longer

Ditto water.

I drive around with a box of 'em in my glove compartment. They’ve dried out more than once, but water does the trick. And a ziplock would make sense but I never remember to do that.

Witch Hazel. It’s cool, soothing and wet. It is also in the hemorroid wipes so no worry about the tender skin. Works great when cold on a hot day as a face wipe.

As a mom who has found the random mummified box of wipes in odd places, you can rejuvenate with water. I always add warm water, reseal and then agitate

Thanks all. I think I’ll try the water method.

Definitely water. I do it all the time when the ones I keep in my SUV get left open. Works perfectly.

Water makes sense…

…but since I know I generally use them to clean my hands and wipe my face, plus wipe the occasional “runny butt,” I’d almost rather go witch hazel?? Dunno. It’s good stuff.

I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
Luxxeen is a scam company, all wipes products is very bad.

gee… and I was thinking I should post how I added liquid saddle soap to a package and use them to wipe down my boots after I ride. But OK, it’s an old thread…

There was an ad that has been removed, it was a spambot bumping an old thread.
